Video Game Review: MLB 2k12

A second addition doesn’t endear itself quite as well. Pitch performance is dynamic this year, which means that if you register punch outs with a specific pitch its in-game rating will rise. Conversely, allowing hits will reduce that pitch’s effectiveness. I understand the premise, but I’m not convinced it’s beneficial to the gameplay.

2012 RotoRob MLB Draft Kit: Top 10 Sleepers

One of the rites of spring is scouring the player depth charts in search of that next diamond in the rough. 2012 RotoRob MLB Draft Kit: Top 55 Prospects, Part I

Several experts aren’t as bullish on May as we are, but after he broke through with a double-digit win effort at Class-A, he’s cracked our list this season. His strikeout rates are very exciting, and he also made big strides in improving his control last year. Ruutu returned to action Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Though you may want to give him a couple games to get back in the swing of things, insert him into your lineup anyway because 17 goals in 57 games translates to a respectable 25 over a 82-game schedule. Ruutu is owned in 25-to-30 per cent of Fantasy hockey leagues, but his shots on goal, hits and point potential is at least a good reason to consider an add. Playoff runs are won on depth guys at this point and the multiple positional eligibility is a huge boost for GMs.
