The Wire Troll: Catching Nick Hundley Fever

Coming off a solid 2010, Hundley took over as the starter this year. After a solid April, he has endured a season from hell and has ended up on the DL not once, but twice, missing a total of nine weeks dealing with an oblique strain and elbow surgery. Since being activated August 12 Hundley is making up for lost time, going a mind-boggling 15-for-28 with two homers, five RBI, and eight runs scored. Get him active in all formats for the stretch run.

Video Game Review: Call of Juarez: The Cartel

It may take a little time to acclimate to the game’s button layout, but once that’s squared away the actual shooting mechanics are solid. You’ll carry three guns (two pistols and a rifle/shotgun) and have the ability to dual-wield your two smaller weapons with the usual drawback of not being able to aim down the sight. Grenades and melee attacks are also available.

Minor Matters: Wesley Wright Continues to Shine

I don’t get it, personally, especially since now that he’s back to relieving almost exclusively, he’s been superb at Triple-A. And it’s not as if Houston’s bullpen has been good. In fact, really the only good things you can say about the Astro bullpen is that it’s been better than their rotation and that it isn’t as bad as the Twins’ pen.
