The right analog stick also controls two abilities — press to pull objects toward you, hold down to create a ball of time-freezing energy — though it fared considerably better. Neither issue rates as debilitating since you’re incapacitating enemies either way, but it was a bit frustrating.

Perez is currently owned in only 29 per cent of CBS leagues and for the life of me I can’t understand why it’s so few. He’s been extremely effective even when not closing games for the Indians, and Saturday he earned his eighth save of the season against the Tigers. Perez has the closer gig for at least the next two weeks so get him rostered in all formats and if and when Wood does reappear, continue to keep Perez rostered, as his next opportunity to earn saves for Cleveland won’t be that far down the road.

In fairness, Marmol’s control – while still quite spotty – has been better this season, and his Ks have been just sick. So we’ll cut him a bit of slack, especially since he had been so sharp in July before this outing.

The two names that definitely stand out on your list are Beckham and Lopez. Both have struggled in the first half but are historically solid options at second base. Beckham went 2-for-3 with his fourth homer Thursday and looks to be heating up. Lopez has struggled, but don’t forget that just last year he managed 25 long balls and 96 RBI. He is also rumoured to be on the move with the Phillies being the suitors. A move to that park and the supporting offense could be huge for Lopez.

The gems look bright and colourful, and the exploration screens look decent enough as well. The visual highlights are the hand drawn character/enemy art you’ll encounter when battles begin or you unleash a weapon attack, though there’s nothing here that flexes the Xbox 360’s graphical muscle.
