NBA Daily Dose: Stick a Fork in Z-Bo

March 31, 2007 | by RotoRob | Comments (0)
Portland centre Jamaal Magloire will likely move into the starting lineup with Zach Randolph done for the year.
Jamaal Magloire will probably shift into the starting lineup now that Z-Bo is toast.

Wow. Things sure changed fast for Zach Randolph this week. He goes from grieving in the strip joint, to losing his starting job, to regaining his job, to a career night, to season-ending surgery. All in six days! What a week for Z-Bo owners. We take a closer look at the saga that was Randolph’s week in today’s Daily Dose.

Marcus Camby, Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony are all hurting to various degrees; Jermaine O’Neal was back in action, but for how long?; Udonis Haslem is looking pretty good right now; so much for this Peja Stojakovic comeback; Kurt Thomas is now starting over Boris Diaw; Joey Graham came up huge as a starter; and let’s hope Adam Morrison isn’t reduced to tears again.

While holding hands with an otter is entertaining, it can’t possibly be as satisfying as getting your daily fantasy basketball fix, available now in the Daily Dose.

If Evgeni Malkin, background, isn’t the Rookie of the Year, there should be an inquest. Derrick Dockery is a key acquisition in the Bills’ attempt to remake their offensive line. What? Football isn’t on your radar yet? What’s that about the Final Four? Baseball? The NBA? Bah, humbug. Football takes a back seat to no sport, even if it’s just some free agent signings! Alright, whatever. You know you want […]

Offseason Lowdown: Prior Arrangements

March 30, 2007 | by RotoRob | Comments (2)
Wade Miller has a golden opportunity to be a useful fantasy starter thanks to Mark Prior’s inability to stick with the Cubs. For the fourth straight season, Mark Prior won’t be breaking camp with Cubbies. This time, it’s opened the door for Wade Miller to make hay as Chicago’s fifth starter. In the final Offseason […]

Hoping to land the next Ichiro? Learning the NPB is a good place to start. Ah’this is my favourite time of the year. The grass is greening, birds are singing and Jared Fernandez has just completed his first 3 km run for his new team, the Hiroshima Carp. Hello, RotoRob readers. My name is Tim […]
