Carlo drilled three shots in his first game, and then a team-high five blasts on Thursday, scoring once and going +2. When he’s healthy, he’s a key part of a championship calibre team.

He had been virtually invisible the previous two games, so we’ll see what happens (24 points on Friday worked for us!), but given how much better he’s getting defensively, the minutes should be there down the stretch. Walker, the 18th overall pick in 2018, is worth watching because of his athleticism and scoring ability.

As discussed in our intro, Limet is hurt again, and Weathers made a strong claim to take advantage by limiting the powerful Dodgers to a single hit over 5 2/3 frames on Thursday. With shutout ball in back-to-back starts, Weathers is suddenly in the early stages of a fantastic rookie season. He had appeared out of the bullpen three times to begin the season, but if he can secure a rotation slot, he could very quickly become a must-own asset. Weathers is inducing plenty of ground balls early on, and that’s a promising trend.

Oettinger has been taking advantage of the opportunity with some solid play — especially lately, with a .944 save percentage in April so far. His fine performances are helping him make a claim as the goalie of the future in Dallas and a worthy picking up as a second goalie for the remainder of the season.

Now he’s back to seeing nice minutes periodically, and he’s responded with double digit points in two of the last three while adding six dimes, two boards and a steal on Wednesday. Wanamaker followed that up Friday with six points, three boards, two steals and a team-high seven dimes.

Baltimore needs to pass more, regardless of what formation. If it wants to continue its three-TE tendencies and stretch the field, then Tremble is the best option — especially given how the Ravens have a history of developing tight ends. The Saints, the other hand, don’t particularly need more pass-catchers, but they do need someone fast inside. In a best-case scenario, if Tremble goes to Baltimore, we could be looking at 60 catches, 800 yards, and 6-to-8 touchdowns.
