We’ve seen this movie before. You’ve seen this movie before. So much of what’s on screen feels ripped from other films — and not in an ironic, Scream sort of way, either. The back story is absurd — the spirit of a boy killed 20 years ago has returned to haunt a high school play — and the “big reveals” lead to all kinds of eye rolling.

Like any worthwhile episode of Transformers, Devastation has Megatron attempting an insane scheme that will have disastrous effects on Earth and its flesh creatures. This time, he has located an object that has the power to “cyberform” the planet, turning Earth into another Cybertron. Once again it’s up to Prime and his band of Autobots — Sideswipe, Grimlock, Wheeljack and Bumblebee — to stop him and save the human race from extinction.

The Bills are off to a 2-2 start, but could very easily have be 3-1 or perhaps undefeated had their defense been a little more disciplined the past few weeks. The bottom line is that Buffalo is a dark horse in a division that’s completely up for grabs. Look for the Bills to storm Titans this weekend.

Although he doesn’t get to flash his charisma here as much as in other films, Johnson remains an amiable lead with the personality and physique to be cast as a hero in a film in which the “villain” is Mother Nature itself. He does plenty of physical action sequences, an array of impressive stunts and still manages to bring a human element to his character.

Beauchemin heading to the Avalanche might lower his point total a little because Anaheim was such a high-scoring team and — last season at least — Colorado was not. The Ducks ranked 10th in goals while the Avalanche was 21st. However, we don’t think that his point total will be too affected by switching teams, but rather that it will drop because last season his shooting percentage was more than double his career average.

Remember the time you started up THPS2, picked Tony Hawk and pulled off a 900 Christ Air in the first nine seconds? That will not happen here, as every skater needs to be leveled up separately. So you’re forced to jump in and play as skateboarders who are just as bad in-game as you probably are in real life.
