Video Game Review: Halo 5: Guardians

As the second act of the Reclaimer Saga, Halo 5: Guardians is a fairly dark story. The Covenant is broken and embroiled in Civil War, while Chief now leads Blue Team, a four-person squad dispatched to an ONI space station to investigate Covenant interest. Product Review: slow watches

Visually, the Jo 02 has a very streamlined look. The silver steel band has a nice braided design, and the all black face with a single silver hand really looks sharp. It also feels very sturdy. Blu-ray Review: Hidden

When 99 per cent of a movie features three people, and one of the three is super annoying it’s a serious issue. Such is the case with Zoe, who is massively overexposed as the centrepiece of the film. Video Game Review: NBA Live ’16

Live ’16 is capable of looking really good, though it’s not consistent in that regard with the game’s more notable players seeming to have received more care than others. The ESPN license is used effectively, and the creation of that TV broadcast vibe is one of the highlights of Live’s presentation — that includes the enjoyable halftime/post-game shows that recap some of the game’s best plays. Animations can be a bit clunky but not to the point that it really pulls you out of the experience.

NHL Free Agency Recap: Forwards, Part Two

We really thought some team was going to fork over a contract of four or more years to Williams, so we’re really surprised at how short of a term the Capitals got him for. We think this is great value for the Capitals and they didn’t have to break the bank. Williams will surely help in the Capitals’ playoff run and can add some much needed secondary scoring.
