Podcast: Clayton Kershaw’s Masterpiece

This week on RotoRob Fantasy Baseball Weekly Podcast, heard every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on Blogtalkradio, RotoRob was joined by The Fantasy Insiders’ Joel Henard, back for a second appearance after making his debut on our Podcast last month. Diamond Stocks: Bobby Abreu Turns Back the Clock

Clearly, Ludwick did not take kindly to being designated to a part-time role. That could change given his torrid June, in which he has gone 11-for-28 (.393) with two homers, including a 4-for-5 showing Sunday. Keep an eye on the proud veteran’s playing time because if Ludwick gets back to playing every day, his numbers could sneak up on you — or at least the 0.3 per cent of people that own him in ESPN leagues and eight per cent that have him in CBS leagues.

Diamond Stocks: Josh Tomlin Rocking

He is unowned in ESPN leagues and owned by 1 per cent of CBS leagues, but the man whose name translates to Greg White in English has actually been remarkable in his full outings. Blanco has five multi-hit games in his last six starts, and is 14 for his last 31 overall (.452), with a respectable OPS of 688 for the season and six stolen bases. Fantasy owners in need of a quick fix in the outfield should stay thirsty for his services.

The Wire Troll: Now Playing Shortstop in Detroit…

Surprisingly, the Twins have signed the former Mariner to a pro-rated one-year $12-million deal. Who saw this one coming? Morales’ ownership levels are currently at 46 per cent in CBS and 16 per cent in ESPN, so there still is an opportunity to grab some solid power numbers for the second half. If he’s available in your league he should be the top FAAB priority this week.
