The Fantasy Baseball Guide, 2008 Edition

January 20, 2008 | by RotoRob | Comments (2)

For the fourth straight year, RotoRob participated in the creation of Rotoman’s superb Fantasy Baseball Guide, currently showing up at fine magazine shops across the continent. Tim McLeod, also of RotoRob fame, was also involved in putting this wonderful publication together.

RotoRob and Tim McLeod helped create this great tool.

As always, the highlight of this magazine is its 1,500 player and pitcher profiles (approximately 325 of the latter written by yours truly). Several industry experts (again, myself included) weigh in with their picks and pans for the 2008 season, and we also make our selections for the top rookies for the coming season.

If you’re seeking expert analysis, top-notch profiles, player prices and projections, The Fantasy Baseball Guide 2008, Professional Edition is the place you’ll want to start.

Tap into the minds of the champions of the most prestigious expert leagues and find out the strategies those owners employed to ensure victory; get in-depth cheat sheets to help prepare you for Draft Day; and check out the expert Mock Draft and find out who was taken in what round and why.

Get all of this plus a cornucopia of pure fantasy baseball goodness in The Fantasy Baseball Guide 2008, Professional Edition.

Ice Chips: Is the Season Half Empty or Half Full?

January 18, 2008 | by Steven Ovadia | Comments (1)
Thanks to rotator cuff surgery, Michael Nylander won’t be doing too much celebrating in the near future. With the All-Star game rapidly approaching, the season is only becoming more volatile. While I’m not a huge fan of All-Star games, since it’s mostly an academic exercise, I do love the movement and excitement that accompanies hundreds […]
