Video Game Review: Watch Dogs

Virtual Chicago looks great, particularly with next-gen lighting and environmental effects. It’s not the best this young generation has produced, but it’s certainly impressive and — more importantly — immersive. Individual character models don’t fare nearly as well, particularly the faces. We’re guessing this is due to the immense amount of information the game is constantly loading, from NPC details to hacking opportunities to vehicles and buildings at far drawing distances. You’ll notice this particularly in two areas: cut scenes that feature a lot of facial expressions and the info icons over NPCs, as their headshot shows with their data, such as where the person works, what their hobbies are, and how much money they make.

Diamond Stocks: Josh Tomlin Rocking

He is unowned in ESPN leagues and owned by 1 per cent of CBS leagues, but the man whose name translates to Greg White in English has actually been remarkable in his full outings. Blanco has five multi-hit games in his last six starts, and is 14 for his last 31 overall (.452), with a respectable OPS of 688 for the season and six stolen bases. Fantasy owners in need of a quick fix in the outfield should stay thirsty for his services.

Surprisingly, the Twins have signed the former Mariner to a pro-rated one-year $12-million deal. Who saw this one coming? Morales’ ownership levels are currently at 46 per cent in CBS and 16 per cent in ESPN, so there still is an opportunity to grab some solid power numbers for the second half. If he’s available in your league he should be the top FAAB priority this week.
