Case in point: last weekend, Nathan enjoyed a run of four saves in four days (ending Sunday), and showed no ill effects, tossing a perfect outing in his next appearance following that taxing stretch. Picking first, the Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly will not be dissuaded by all the baggage Kansas shooting guard Ben McLemore brings to the table. It’s by no means a certainty that McLemore will go No. 1, but the fact that the redshirt freshman had issues with his representatives that necessitated NCAA investigation and that he failed to impress in workouts has scared some teams off. The Cavs are not one of them, apparently. Besides, McLemore could be the most sure thing in this somewhat uninspired draft.
Losing two of three to the Tribe hurts as Minny has now fallen three games back of the second place Indians, but the Twins have played well enough lately to have extended their lead over the last place Pale Hose.

The longest-tenured coach in the NHL, Ruff was canned 17 games into the season after Buffalo struggled to a 6-10-1 record. While the Sabres rebounded to finish .500, they missed the playoffs for a second straight season.
It is Ruff’s experience – plus his energy – that drew Dallas to him to try to end its extended funk.
