There are a handful of vehicular sequences as well, which handle pretty well but also suffer from a limited viewable area since you drive cars from the first-person perspective. It’s a decent setup that takes its lumps in those moments when the game veers away from traditional FPS fare.

As for the audio department, the sound effects do a great job fitting in and performing their function. The music also manages to keep itself from being repetitive and tedious, but at the same time it’s not going to rate as memorable or outstanding.

As this is an indie game based mostly on storytelling and puzzle-solving, it’s understandable that the first-person movement is good, not great. There are times when loose jumping might get you in trouble, though you’re never too stuck behind.

Green has moved into the starting lineup at the two guard slot and has played 34.5 MPG over the first two contests. Okay, so the numbers haven’t been impressive yet (although the 1.5 treys and one block per game are sweet), but if Green keeps getting that much burn, he’ll produce, so be proactive and grab him now. Granger is out indefinitely, so Green could be a useful player for a very long time. He has a chance to be one of the early season pleasant surprises.

Seated atop the list is the use of the Vita’s rear camera. Periodically you’ll be asked to point the lens at a “bright light” and then rotate an object on the touch screen to reveal a hidden location, which will then move the story forward. It’s absolutely broken. I took my Vita outside and pointed the rear camera at the sun (THE SUN!) and it didn’t register as a bright enough object. Eventually I found that if I moved the Vita around for a while something would trigger the event and I’d be able to move forward.
