Video Game Review: Stacking

As this isn’t an action title and doesn’t require precise commands at any point, the controls are pretty much a non-factor. You stack/unstack, talk and use your special ability with the face buttons while the shoulder buttons are used to keep track of your objectives. The only time the controls become even mildly annoying is when dolls are clustered together and you end up entering the wrong one.

2011 RotoRob MLB Draft Kit: Catcher Rankings

The fact that he still hit over .325, scored almost 90 runs, drove in 75 and – as per usual – drew more walks than strikeouts yet it was considered a bad season tells you why Mauer remains the No. 1 man at this position. I’m still a bit worried about his long-term status as a catcher given his size and injury issues, but for 2011, there’s no one better among backstops.

The Wire Troll: Eye on Eyenga

Mozgov is still very much an NBA work in progress, but he has started three straight games, averaging 9.3 points, 8.3 boards and 1.3 blocks during that time. If you’re in a very deep league, Mozgov should provide modest help with big-man stats in the short run, but he carries a great deal of risk to go with his modest upside. Grab him if you think he can help, but keep the bait knife close at hand.

Video Game Reviews: First Strike DLC

This map takes place at an Antarctic base inconveniently constructed on either side of a gaping chasm that players can tumble into (and seemingly never land). There are several ways across, which combined with multiple entry points to every building, prevents snipers from getting too comfortable. The ice bridges located on Discovery are destructible via explosives or gunfire and destroying them can cause you to alter your tactics on the fly. It’s a solid, fast-paced map.
