This season, he’s seeing plenty of action at DH, OF and first base, and while his extra-base sock has dipped a bit (although it seems to have resurfaced this week), he’s upped his walk rate while racking up hits to the tune of a career-best .287 BA. Ramirez is also showing some decent glovework in the outfield and may have done enough to keep getting solid PT, so consider him an AL-only option.

Williams was very sharp in his start Tuesday, but bear in mind that wins may be tough to come by here given that he’s not fully stretched out to pitch deep into games. As a result, consider him simply a deep NL-only league option for the time being.

And while he remains ice cold now, he had driven in runs in three straight before Friday, making him an intriguing buy-low, streaming or DFS option as he remains as asset in OBP leagues thanks to his superb strike zone judgment (he drew a pair of free passes Friday). Grossman’s BABIP has been ridiculously low lately, and that’s bound to normalize, so taking a flier now could provide nice returns.

Well, that issue’s been resolved with Langeliers getting shipped to Oakland, which will help expedite his arrival in the majors. An eight-game hitting streak (snapped on Friday) and a video game-like power display so far this season (10 homers in 25 games) will help. You need to grab Langeliers now, especially in dynasty formats. Oh, did we mention he’s known more for his glovework behind the plate?

On Friday, he took over the leadoff spot and delivered with two hits, two runs, a dinger and a walk. Pitchers have been attacking Demeritte with fewer fastballs than ever, so perhaps he’s being taken a bit more seriously as a hitter. Perhaps you should follow suit for the next few weeks.
