Presentation is a mixed bag with the cel-shaded cut scenes and a rich soundtrack the clear highlights. The levels are decent enough as well, though the distant viewpoint makes for small characters and limited detail work. Voice acting is pretty brutal, which further hurts an admittedly disjointed plot.

Playing on the top line with Panthers, who are red hot, has helped Bjugstad turn it on of late. He’s recorded points in every game so far this month, scoring four goals (all in the last two) and four assists with a whopping +10 rating. Bjugstad started ramping up his play in February, matching his season high with nine points, but he’s taken that to a whole new level this month, making him a must grab player. He’s already surpassed his game total from last season and looks poised to set a new career high in points. Bjugstad has ripped 11 shots on goal over the last two games, but his ice time has fluctuated. If he can regularly start seeing over 19 minutes of action as he did Tuesday (albeit, in an overtime game), he’ll really take off. It’s clear that Bjugstad is starting to use his massive frame (6’6″, 218) — especially large for a centre — to his advantage.

The basic concept of Survive is this: how could Konami take The Phantom Pain and make a Resident Evil game out of it? That’s essentially what is attempted, with some decent results. This is selling the Metal Gear brand, though, and that means a ridiculous attempt to connect the happenings in Dite to the main storyline.

Adebayo really showed us something Thursday in a blowout loss, canning 6-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the line for 15 points with 10 rebounds (including six on the defensive end) and two blocks in 30 minutes for his first double-double in nearly three weeks. The rookie hadn’t really been seeing enough PT recently to be on the Fantasy radar prior to this, but needs to be watched now given that he’s been playing at nearly a top 100 level over the last week. Note that he’ll miss Saturday’s game while dealing with a personal matter, but it’s only expected to be a one-game absence. It’s important to note that after several DNP-CDs early on, he’s appeared in every Heat game since late November. Adebayo has no outside game at all, but he did see a bit more PT in February, and if that continues, he’ll be a sneaky asset down the stretch if you need rebounding help.

In his return to the lineup Friday after missing over two weeks, Rutta wasted little time making an impact, scoring one goal and adding an assist while going +2. His penalty minute total has dipped each month, but he’s enjoying a very fine rookie campaign and a few more games like Friday will take him out of the minus (he’s currently -5). An UFA this summer, Rutta has plenty of incentive to finish strong, so if you need a blueliner, give him a look.

For an adaptation of a character that could fundamentally be described as “female Indiana Jones,” Lara spends a lot of time around her mansion, and the lack of globetrotting hurts the feeling of this being a grand adventure.

Where The Station does its best work is in the practical design of the puzzles. One example is needing to repair a droid so it can grant access to another area. Here you’ll need to read the droid’s schematic to see what’s needed, locate the appropriate parts by deciphering the storage manifest, identify functional from non-functional units and finally install them. It’s well thought out.
