Video Game Review: Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Simply put, Origins is a gorgeous game. It pushes the limits of this generation’s graphical fidelity despite the considerably vast landscape of Ancient Egypt. Video Game Review: Battle Chasers: Nightwar

Unlike many RPGs, we never formed much of a bond with our six-person crew, which is unfortunate as we would’ve enjoyed learning more about Garrison and Gully and getting more deeply invested in their quest. Video Game Review: WWE 2k18

WWE 2k18 takes the series’ presentation up a notch, offering up the smoothest and most realistic looking wrestlers and animations we’ve ever seen in a wrestling game. There are two rival factions: Coon and Friends and Freedom Pals, setting up a Marvel/DC dynamic.

Video Game Review: Cuphead

Make no mistake, it was Cuphead‘s insane style of a 1930’s cartoon come to life that started the hype machine and kept it going over the last several years. After seeing the finished product it’s fair to say it deserves every bit of praise being heaped on it. The watercolour backgrounds are detailed and exquisite, and the hand-drawn animations were clearly a labour of love.
