And of course, where will players end up? Unfortunately, a hamstring injury delayed the start of Meadows’ 2014 season, but that didn’t stop him from showing what he’s capable of at full-season ball, hence his major boost from last year. He was very productive during his time in the Sally League, although we’d like to see him make better contact because that could be an issue as he moves up and faces better competition. Meadows also hit way more groundballs than usual last year, and we’re hoping that trend reverses itself so he can take advantage of his power potential. He’s begin the season at High-A in a very productive manner and, really, all he needs at this point is a stretch of good health so he can develop into his immense potential.

“Chi Chi” rates high across the board, but what really caught our eye was the progress he made in 2014 in terms of limiting baserunners as he seems to be improving as he moves up the Ranger system. Last year, Gonzalez proved he can win at High-A and barely skipped a beat after moving to Double-A, recording a sparkling 2.70 ERA in 15 games (14 starts). He’s moving towards Texas very, very quickly.

Wilson is not someone that will blow hitters away or light up the radar gun, but he always seems to rack up the Ws wherever he goes (his 25 career wins ranks third all-time at Virginia). The fact that his command did not really suffer in the move from Double-A to Triple-A was a great sign.

Some have called Clarkson a potential steal, but we simply refer to him as Jordan “Holy shit, I can’t believe this guy was drafted in the second round” Clarkson. Years down the road when this guy becomes a stud and Fantasy roster regular, you will look back at the 2014 NBA draft and many names will become synonymous with the word bust and others will be household names and you will think back to this particular article and this particular writer and you will look him up on the Internet and see all the super awesome writing awards he won and smile because he put this kid’s potential in your head and you drafted him as a sleeper a couple years later and he helped you to win your first Fantasy basketball league.

Touissant was a very intriguing name heading into the draft, and the Haitian-born righty has a power arm but needs to develop his secondary pitches. Like Touissant, Wilson is 6’3”, but weighs just 175 pounds and needs to complement his velocity by adding bulk to his frame to become more durable. Diaz is coming off one of the most impressive offensive seasons in Western Massachusetts high school history, but he profiles better as second baseman.
