Top 70 Prospects, Part II

Unfortunately, a hamstring injury delayed the start of Meadows’ 2014 season, but that didn’t stop him from showing what he’s capable of at full-season ball, hence his major boost from last year. He was very productive during his time in the Sally League, although we’d like to see him make better contact because that could be an issue as he moves up and faces better competition. Meadows also hit way more groundballs than usual last year, and we’re hoping that trend reverses itself so he can take advantage of his power potential. Well, if you do, Metalhead Software’s Super Mega Baseball hopes to recreate that fun. And if you don’t, it intends to introduce you to it.

Video Game Review: RBI Baseball ’15

Many sports games, like Madden and NBA 2K, strictly adhere to the idea of not fixing something that isn’t broken. The gameplay has, for the most part, been perfected, so what’s left to change each year is mostly the roster along with small tweaks and maybe a new mode or two. RBI Baseball ’15 tries to follow this model, but it forgot it never perfected its mechanics — or even reached the same level of games made 20 years ago.
