2012 Arizona Fall League Report

Hamilton has wings and the attitude to go along with it. Two plays that caught my attention worth mentioning was a fake steal of home where he went from 0-to-80 km/h in a blink of an eye and just as quickly hit the brakes. The poor pitcher is still wondering what happened and a change in underwear between innings had to be part of the program. The second thing that caught my attention was with a runner on first, Hamilton took a walk. It was the perfect opportunity to swing away and be a bit selfish but he did the right thing. He’s one injury away from getting a promotion next season and for Fantasy purposes he will be a dominant force in the stolen base category.

Podcast: The World Serious!

This week on RotoRob’s Fantasy Baseball Weekly Podcast, heard every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on Blogtalkradio, we tried a few new things. First off, we managed to get through a show unscathed, technologically. Woo hoo! Secondly, we tried to keep it not only under 90 minutes, but actually under 45 minutes! Wow. Jenrry Mejia: 2012 in Review

Well, Mejia managed to make it back this season after the injury limited him to five starts in 2011. He dominated in a couple of starts in the FSL, before getting touched up in a couple of Double-A outings. Mejia was finally promoted to Triple-A where he split his time starting and relieving, and the improved hit rates were definitely encouraging, but he struggled with his command – a common trait for pitchers working their way back from TJS.
