An enviable talent to be heading the Rays’ system, Franco still hasn’t been tested above High-A ball thanks to there being no minor league season last year. However, this kid is an elite contact hitter with elite BA skills. There really isn’t a clear weakness in Franco’s game, although it would be nice to see his base stealing skills improve as he’s just 22-for-39 in his minor league career to date.

Wow, Martin has really been a revelation since coming up from the G-League, giving distraught Rockets’ fans some hope for the future. On Wednesday, the rookie just missed his second double-double in four games, and he’s been jacking it up from downtown far more often this month. Taken 52nd overall in last year’s draft, Martin has arrived as a legitimate Fantasy asset, so if he’s still available in your league, do something about it. Now!

Raanta was perfect in relief after Kuemper got hurt Monday and then played brilliantly on Wednesday, keeping his team in a game that should have been a blowout loss. It’s been a rough start to the season for Raanta, but he has a glorious opportunity to right the ship now.

The former Piston is coming off the bench a bit more in his first season with the Nets, and overall his performance has dipped. But lately, Brown has been on fire, scoring at least 13 points in six straight while consistently flirting with double-doubles and even a potential triple dub on Wednesday (17 points, eight boards, seven assists). Toss in his efficient shooting of late and he makes for a very nice pickup.

Necas has been quieter in the two games since that streak, but continues to get shots on net. Still, as long as Teravainen remains out (and you never know how long that will be with a concussion), Necas is a fine waiver wire add, and long-term makes for an interesting trade target.

Amazingly, he’s the first player in NBA history to hit the 50-point mark without getting to the charity stripe once. Murray’s touches are up this month, but he’s not supplying quite as many dimes as he has over the last couple of seasons.

Well, Covid put a quick end to his hot play, but this season he’s picked up right where he left off, recording four points in the last two games and nearly a point per game overall while proving a nice source of hits. Brown’s also racking up more PM this season, and while he’s playing on the top line and garnering plenty of PP time, he needs to be owned.
