Recently signed to a 10-day deal, Crawford has paid immediate dividends for the Pelicans, canning 10 treys in three games en route to an average of 16 points. He’s even dropping dimes (six on Saturday) while shooting very well from the field. Crawford is fast and a great ball handler, so has a chance to really excel as New Orleans’ new sixth man. Grab him immediately.

Abrines enjoyed a fourth double-digit scoring effort in five games, shooting very well over the last three contests specifically. He’s been filling it up from downtown, which is good, because he doesn’t really offer much in the way of peripheral stats, so he’s all about scoring and treys. If you need temporary help in that regard, give Abrines a look.

Lee was apparently sick on Friday morning, yet he not only played that night, but went off for a game-high 25 points, adding six boards, five assists, three treys and a steal. Damn, this dude should get ill more often. Lee’s been really delivering lately, shooting a whopping 56 per cent from the floor in February, so you absolutely need to add this massively undervalued performer while he’s rolling.

Of course, the other dude that stands to benefit from Jackson being shipped out is Smith. Given that he’s got a long-term contract, Smith might be handed the keys to the offense in Detroit, but again — either way — he’s in line for a boost in PT. Even as the backup, he’s developed some nice chemistry and at times has done a better job than Jackson of running the Piston attack. Smith has put up double-digit scoring efforts in four of the last five games despite getting over 21 minutes of action just once. That’s efficiency, people. So imagine what he’d do with a consistent 25 to 30 minutes.

After showing signs of breaking out in 2014-15, it’s pretty much been all downhill for the seventh overall pick from 2013. However, before we completely write McLemore off as a bust, it’s worth pointing out that lately he’s been jacking them up from downtown as a ridiculous pace, canning 9-of-15 from beyond the arc over the last two games. On Friday, he narrowly missed a double-double while adding four steals, and last week he showed signs that he could get to the line more often. Slowly, but surely, McLemore’s game is forming. Perhaps it’s worth picking him up to see if he’s simply a late bloomer.

In the last week, Eaves scored three goals, including two on the power play, had seven points, and saw his ice time rise from 14 minutes to nearly 19 minutes a game. This month, he’s scored nine points (5G-4A), and for the first half he has 18 goals (tied for the team lead in Dallas), including 10 on the power play, and 31 points, but beware if you want to add him because he is a -10 after the first half of the season, which is by far a career worst.

This 19-year-old rookie has thrust himself into the limelight suddenly, showing tremendous pick-and-roll skills and a much-better shooting touch in recent games. With back-to-back double-doubles (and three over the last five games), plus excellent FT shooting for a young big man, Zubac is proving worthy of Fantasy consideration.
