Now, let’s be clear about this list. It includes a hell of a lot of really great players, but they are all trap players — those that are likely to be drafted too early and therefore have a tough time justifying their draft position. That’s how you lose in Fantasy football — when your picks don’t deliver value relative to where you selected them. It’s really as simple as pie. Mmm… did we mention that we love pie?

Every year there are players that go undrafted, that rise from practice squad minion to favoured zealot. Some of the players here you know and some even caught us by surprise. We do realize there are still many drafts to take place and you are probably gathering a handful of names as potential sleepers. The players we discuss here did not appear on our cheat sheets for many different reasons. So as a sort of addendum to our cheat sheets, we give you our top 10 deer sleepers (plus a bonus one for good measure, because we’re kind that way).

With the NFL taking on more of a pass happy feel, this year’s wide receiver pool is deeper than ever. Teams like Tennessee, Green Bay, Denver, Indianapolis, Dallas and even Cleveland have three WRs that can produce reputable damage. It’s no wonder teams have a major focus in stockpiling cornerbacks. Frequent three receiver sets against nickel coverage have really started to turn this “Xs & Os” game into a chess match. More athletic quarterbacks — which we’ve seen an influx of recently — are also buying time with their feet and enabling WRs to snap loose down field.
