Video Game Review: Quantum Break

As Jack Joyce, you’re able to unleash a modest yet effective array of powers. Blu-ray Review: Point Break

Point Break really has two things going for it. First, the movie is beautiful. Blu-ray Review: The Big Short

There are excellent performances everywhere in The Big Short, highlighted by Gosling’s over-the-top caricature of Vennett — he’s given most of the best lines and also doubles as the narrator, breaking down the fourth wall in the process — and Bale’s Academy Award nominated turn as the eccentric Burry. How Bale was beaten out for the award by Mark Rylance’s one-note performance in Bridge of Spies remains a mystery to us.
