He justified the pick with big minutes in the season’s final month. Unfortunately, it’s been pretty much downhill for Holiday since, but he’s got a chance to reestablish some value right now, so he bears watching. Sure, he’s generally only about a top 65 point guard usually, but while he’s starting he’s worth considering. Remember that when Holiday came out of UCLA, he was considered small, but was also seen as a good defender with strength and quickness.

Paul has quietly been filling the net for the Lightning, on Thursday enjoying his second multi-goal game over the last five (5-2-7, with a pair of power play markers). He averaged nearly a point per game last month, so this hasn’t exactly come out of nowhere, and with a +15 mark, he’s well on his way to topping last season’s career-best effort. Paul will be a popular waiver wire pickup this week, so grab him quick.

Reed’s PT has waned in the last couple of games thanks to foul trouble, but we got a sense of what he can do on Tuesday (19 points, 10 boards, three steals and two blocks). He hasn’t shot as well this season, but has proven from time to time to be a big contributor off the Sixer bench.

Craig has been seeing 22+ MPG over the last week, and while he hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire, he’s flirted with double-doubles and on Friday he offered a well-rounded stat line. Still, if his FT shooting regresses to the norm, he has slightly more scoring potential than he’s shown of late. Craig has already earned more starts this season than he did during his time in Phoenix last season, so if the minutes can regularly get above the 25 range, he’ll provide some deep league value for the next few weeks.
