When Nate’s in cover, he’s bound to get bombarded with grenades, since the improved enemy AI tries to flush him out quite a bit. Naughty Dog gives you another weapon with this by allowing you to tap triangle to toss the grenade back (a visual cue tells you if you’re within range).

In a theme that will run throughout the review, the controls are basic with multiple buttons doing the same things. Each character has three attacks — one primary, one secondary and then one special attack that must be unlocked — and a button to interact with objects. Opening treasure chests and gift boxes is done by waggling the right stick. My only complaint is that you’re unable to adjust the camera as there are definitely times it would’ve been nice to look around.

There’s no doubt that last year was a nice bounceback for Tony Plush after his lacklustre 2010 season, and his extra-base pop rebounded somewhat. However, Morgan’s strikeout rose, while his stolen base total plummeted. Without the thefts, his Fantasy value is capped.
