Video Game Review: Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

Set after the events of Dishonored 2, Death of the Outsider casts you as Billie Lurk, who returns to the city of Karnaca seeking her mentor Daud (AKA, The Knife of the Dunwall). After tracking him to a fight club she is able to free the ailing assassin, and Daud asks that Billie help him with one final job: to kill the Outsider, the mysterious source of all magic in the world.

Video Game Review: Destiny 2

Set after the events of Rise of Iron, Destiny 2 opens with the Last City under full-scale assault from a subset of the Cabal known as the Red Legion, led by the ambitious and merciless Dominus Ghaul. He and his forces take the city, bind the Traveler and, in the process, capture the Light, eliminating the Guardians’ ability to be resurrected.

Video Game Review: Tacoma

You play as Amy Ferrier, a contractor hired by the Venturis Company to investigate the events that unfolded on its Tacoma space station and then retrieve the ODIN A.I. You’ll explore each of the three sections sequentially by unlocking and viewing recordings that explain how the crew came to their fate after some kind of explosion compromised the vessel’s oxygen supply.

Video Game Review: Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Episode 3

While the previous episode focused mostly on Rocket, this one explores Gamora and Nebula, along with a closer look at the rift between them. There’s a clever narrative technique here that portrays a single pivotal event from multiple points of view, greatly helping to provide some understanding behind the characters.
