After five seasons of declining offensive production with Tampa Bay, Stralman signed as a free agent with the other Florida team last summer. And while he’s been quiet on offense lately, he does have 10 points already, putting him on pace for his highest scoring season since 2015-16. As usual, Stralman is logging heavy minutes, at 21:11 per game, even more than last season. With 41 blocks, 30 hits and 19 takeaways, he’s on pace to top his numbers from last season across the board, making him a nice deep league consideration.

Connolly enjoyed a breakout effort with the Caps last season, but after signing with the Panthers this season, he’s taking it to the next level. He has five goals and an assist over the last five games, giving him 19 points through 25 games, putting him on pace to flirt with 40 goals this season. Not many expected this dude to be leading the Cats in goals nearly a third of the way through the season, but here we are, so grab Connolly while you can.

The Wire Troll: Do the Caps Have Another Great Goalie in Ilya Samsonov?

Continuing his career season, Pageau exploded on Wednesday, scoring on all three of his shots, one of which was the game-winner, while going +4 with two penalty minutes. The pending UFA may simply be adding to his trade value as rumours suggest the Sens won’t be able to re-sign him, so may deal him this season. And with six goals in his last five games, and currently sitting at a 50-goal pace, Pageau is going to fetch plenty.

Eller has been hot lately, racking up five points over his last five games, while going +2 with 10 shots and one short-handed marker. He slipped a tad offensively last season, but with 10 points in his first 14 games, he could he headed for a career best. Eller was seeing time on the second line earlier this season, but he’s now spearheading the third line.

Tanev has been a real boon to the Pens’ special teams, killing penalties (even scoring a shorty) and drawing plenty of penalties as well. He’s recorded points in three straight games, and is well on pace to shatter his career season from 2018-19, when he put up 29 points in 80 games for the Jets. Tanev has yet to take a penalty, but his only goal was a game-winner.
