There’s a reason this guy went grey so early and died far too young. He was carrying around a weight from years of ugly abuse, and the film did not leave us with a sense of the true scope of his suffering. The fact that he died at the tender age of 53 (yes, diabetes played a huge role here), was not even mentioned. We find it hard to believe that his ordeal in breaking the colour barrier and the enormous burden he carried was not a factor in his untimely death.

2014 RotoRob MLB Draft Kit: Top 65 Prospects, Part II

Some think Frazier is the Indians’ second best prospect, but we want to see what he does at full-season ball before bumping him up more. Still, he didn’t skip a beat moving to pro ball, and is a serious high end talent in a system that lacks depth. The right-handed hitting Frazier showed no vulnerability against righties, recording an 875 OPS en route to being named an AZL Post-Season All-Star. So far, Frazier has been durable, but like many young hitters, needs to improve his contact rates. There may not have been a better source of power in last year’s draft than this kid, so it will be exciting to see what kind of home run totals he can amass as he moves up the ladder.

Podcast: Chris Johnson Rips Open Pitcher’s Duel

After a couple of weeks off because of March Madness, we were back in action this week on RotoRob Fantasy Baseball Weekly Podcast, heard every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on Blogtalkradio. NBA Today: Washington Wizards Playoff Bound

Not only has he finally stayed completely healthy, but his outside game has really matured. Unfortunately, that’s come at a cost as he’s not getting to the line as often. Wall’s modest block numbers have also dipped, but with a career high in both points and dimes, he’s finally emerged as an elite point guard. It took him until season No. 4, but the speedster is finally going to taste postseason play.

Odds on Who Will Win Next Season’s Super Bowl

Now the early odds have been put out by bookmakers and there is at least some consolation for Seattle in that it has been installed as favourites to win it again. Some of the online bookies are offering just 6/1 on Seattle, and this no doubt means lots of American football betting fans will be rushing to place their Seahawks bets, but they are far from the only side in the running, if the odds are to be believed.
