MLB Today: Javier Baez Shakes Off Slump

August was ugly, but September has been marginally better despite less PT. Still, he’s been a hard player to keep active in Fantasy rosters lately. Baez’s walk rate keeps dipping, and that’s a concern from an overall development perspective, although we’re still bullish on his long-term prospects. So he hasn’t had the offensive breakout we expected this season, but let’s remember he’s 23.

Video Game Review: God Eater 2: Rage Burst

The world is in ruins thanks to a variety of creatures called Arigami. While they are somewhat demonic or mythic in appearance, each one is actually made up of thousands of single-cell organisms. Basically, they look cool, but given this is a sci-fi game they have some nonsense about why they’re not just monsters. In order to eradicate these creatures, the various scientists and mysterious powers that be recruit God Eaters, people with the ability to break down the bonds of the Arigami.

Is This Cleveland’s Year?

Cleveland has the best home record in the American League. With three straight wins and six in the last 10, this team has pretty much blown the Tigers away in the AL Central. With a magic number of four, the Indians are about to wrap up their first division title in nearly a decade. One of the biggest reasons? After going 9-10 against the Royals last year, Cleveland is 9-1 vs. KC this season.

Video Game Review: BioShock: The Collection

We were surprised at how much came flooding back to us as soon as we fired each one of them up, which is a testament to both the gameplay and the strength of the narrative. BioShock 2 lags a little bit behind due to being so similar to the original, but its gameplay is superior thanks to a couple smart changes. On that front, it’s worth noting that the ill-fated (though quite enjoyable) multiplayer from the sequel is not included.
