Apparently, a change of scenery after nine years in the Rays’ system was all Beckham needed to remind us why he went first overall in the 2008 draft. Since landing in B-More, he’s racked up four straight multi-hit games, including a four-hit bonanza Friday, making him the only active player to put up multiple hits in each of his first four games with his current team. Beckham is finally a productive big leaguer, so grab him now. Perhaps he’s just a late bloomer (remember, he’s still just 27).

Siani has emerged as a potential first round pick in 2018 thanks to his excellent speed and superb fielding skills as a centre fielder. There’s some raw power here that could manifest itself in game play in time, so small wonder he was named to the Perfect Game 2017 Underclassmen First Team. The hype machine for Siani will begin in earnest in a few months, so if you have a deep farm system in your league that allows you to grab high schoolers, consider him.

Video Game Review: Children of Zodiarcs

Players control a ragtag group of thieves that are doing their best to steal some ancient artifacts called Zodiarcs, which were left behind by a mysterious ancient race called the Heralds. As with all stories dealing with relics like these, things quickly get out of hand and what started off as a simple thieving task now imperils the world, and our plucky band of heroes will have to set their sights a little higher than mere survival.

Blu-ray Review: Ghost in the Shell

Visually, Ghost in the Shell is impressive. Sure, there’s the odd green screen that looks wonky — the fishing scene with Major and Batou stands out in that regard — but for the most part everything looks crisp and does a good job of bringing the anime to life, including some nearly shot-for-shot lifts. With a healthy dose of action as well, Ghost is a strong showcase piece for powerful 4k TVs.
