Like its predecessor, The Fractured but Whole casts you as the customizable “new kid,” who has recently moved to South Park and is hanging out with the local children. It begins with Cartman traveling through time to fix the future… by having everyone dress up as super heroes. There are two rival factions: Coon and Friends and Freedom Pals, setting up a Marvel/DC dynamic.

Make no mistake, it was Cuphead‘s insane style of a 1930’s cartoon come to life that started the hype machine and kept it going over the last several years. After seeing the finished product it’s fair to say it deserves every bit of praise being heaped on it. The watercolour backgrounds are detailed and exquisite, and the hand-drawn animations were clearly a labour of love.

Has Yakupov finally found a team for which he can live up to his first overall pick status? After seemingly bottoming out in his last season in Edmonton (.115 Corsi relative QoC, after .481 the season before), he sucked even more in his only season with the Blues, mustering fewer shots than games played. However, Yakupov seems revitalized in the early going with the Avalanche, ripping three goals and an assist in the last two games, and five points in four games overall. Get him on your team while you can, because something tells us he won’t last long on the wire.

Guardians of the Galaxy‘s penultimate episode Who Needs You highlights the best and worst of TellTale’s instincts, and the result creates a somewhat disjointed experience. On one hand, there is a much greater emphasis on character development rather than plot movement. This makes sense in many ways, as TellTale’s strength tends to come from the characters it presents.
