Brewer went off Friday for 22 points, six steals, three assists, two treys and a block with zero turnovers in 31 minutes. His three-point shooting has been off the charts lately (8-for-16 over the last five) and his touches are way up this month. Brewer has never been a star, but the veteran seemed to have bottomed out with the Lakers. Since being signed OKC, he’s mostly been used as a starter, revitalizing his career. Wasn’t Brewer just going to be a depth player for the Thunder? This has been a shock, but we’ll give him props: he knows how to win, having been a key cog for Florida’s NCAA championship back in 2007.

Adebayo really showed us something Thursday in a blowout loss, canning 6-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the line for 15 points with 10 rebounds (including six on the defensive end) and two blocks in 30 minutes for his first double-double in nearly three weeks. The rookie hadn’t really been seeing enough PT recently to be on the Fantasy radar prior to this, but needs to be watched now given that he’s been playing at nearly a top 100 level over the last week. Note that he’ll miss Saturday’s game while dealing with a personal matter, but it’s only expected to be a one-game absence. It’s important to note that after several DNP-CDs early on, he’s appeared in every Heat game since late November. Adebayo has no outside game at all, but he did see a bit more PT in February, and if that continues, he’ll be a sneaky asset down the stretch if you need rebounding help.

Hezonja has been taking advantage of a couple of injuries in Orlando and has really been shining lately, scoring at least 21 points in each of his last three games. His PT is way up recently and he’s averaged two treys so far this month. Barring injury, Hezonja should surpass his game total from last season, and right now he looks like a spectacular DFS play before his PT wanes as the team gets healthy. Taken fifth overall in 2015, this Croatian has been playing power forward of late, so he’ll likely gain eligibility at that position soon, providing even more value to his owners.

Allen recently took over as the starting centre in Brooklyn, and has looked better each game since the move. Allen’s PT is up, his FG accuracy has been off the charts and each game his scoring has gone up, culminating in 20 points in just 24 minutes on Friday. The rookie will need to watch his turnovers, but looks poised for a big second half as he gets more acclimated to the NBA. You can already see the progress he’s making month to month, and at this stage, he’s nearly looking like a top 50 player. Allen isn’t huge for a centre, but makes up for it with a massive wingspan, great reach and a projectable frame.

Hill has been maddening to own lately. He scored 20 or more points in two of the previous four games, then took a DNP-CD on Friday. Really?!? However, the Kings are rumoured to be interested in peddling Hill, with Cleveland mentioned as a possible landing spot. There’s a chance he starts with the Cavs (at either guard spot) or comes off the bench as the sixth man, but it seems now that virtually anywhere he moves he’ll have more value, so makes for a good stash. Why the Kings ever signed Hill in the first place is a mystery, but hey, there’s a reason they’ve sucked for so long now, right?

Powell is playing big minutes off the bench in the last couple of games, and has been producing, scoring at least a dozen points in four of the last five games. His touches are up lately and his shooting accuracy has gotten better every season. Powell seems to be establishing himself as a key component in the Dallas rebuilding program — especially given the lack of effective options around him. Jump on this train now, especially in dynasty formats.
