This means that Exum, the fifth overall pick last year, will start getting big minutes. In 22 minutes on Friday he had 13 points on 5-for-9 shooting to along with three steals. A big surprise from Exum this season has been his ability to shoot the three. His outside shooting was a major concern coming into the league, but he’s been able to shoot 35 per cent from deep — upping that to 39 per cent since the beginning of December.

Joseph, who has started three games in the last week, is a must own for Tony Parker owners. Joseph has averaged almost 13 points over his past four games, recording five or more assists three times in that stretch. Parker is old and banged up a little and when he misses a game here or there, Joseph is definitely worth a roster spot.

A player on the rise, Motiejunas has had five or more rebounds in 14 of 19 games this season. If you need help on the glass, he is a great pick up. He’ll also score a little but outside of that does not offer much help.

Bradley is a starter that’s averaging over 14 points per game, which means he needs to be owned. He’s a really solid player that is getting pretty big minutes and doesn’t do a lot of bad things. You would like to see Bradley’s peripheral stats go up across the board and he’s not the best shooter, but if you need a boost in points, he’s a great pick up.

Caldwell-Pope has been a nice surprise for the Pistons this season as the former eighth overall pick has really stepped up his game. One of the nicest surprises from this young man has been his three-point shooting. He has made 16 of his last 36 attempts from beyond the arc over the last six games. You would like to see KCP’s other numbers go up, but if you are looking for a three-point specialist, he may be your guy, even if his shooting is inconsistent. He has had games of 1-for-6, 0-for-6 and 1-for-8 from downtown, but when he gets it going, he gets it going. The bottom line is any guy averaging 36 minutes needs to be owned — especially one with this kind of upside.
