Some have called Clarkson a potential steal, but we simply refer to him as Jordan “Holy shit, I can’t believe this guy was drafted in the second round” Clarkson. Years down the road when this guy becomes a stud and Fantasy roster regular, you will look back at the 2014 NBA draft and many names will become synonymous with the word bust and others will be household names and you will think back to this particular article and this particular writer and you will look him up on the Internet and see all the super awesome writing awards he won and smile because he put this kid’s potential in your head and you drafted him as a sleeper a couple years later and he helped you to win your first Fantasy basketball league.

2014 NBA Draft Grades: Northwest Division

Minnesota finished up draft night by snagging a much needed wing player with a lot of potential and enough polish to contribute right away in Robinson III. He looks the part of an NBA player, solid frame and smooth shot, but for some reason or another he failed to consistently grab the spotlight at Michigan and show the NBA scouts he was worthy of anything more than a second round pick. As with fellow draftee LaVine, Saunders will mold Robinson III into a solid player that will be around for many seasons to come.

2014-15 Fantasy Basketball Deep Sleepers

As we’re writing this, we are pretty sure Kris Humphries is still herpes free. Pretty good news for him, but even better news is after finally getting some run in Boston he has proved once again that he can rebound! More than likely Humphries will land on a team in need of frontcourt depth like San Antonio or Chicago, but if he is to be truly Fantasy-relevant, he needs big minutes. His best per 36 numbers came during his time in New Jersey — 13.3 PPG, 12 RPG, along with a solid 48 per cent shooting from the field and a combined steals/blocks per game of 2.0. You could do a lot worse in the latter rounds of your draft.

2014 NBA Free Agency Preview, Part II

Stephenson would immediately step up and contribute on both ends of the floor. His potential could really be reached in an environment like Chicago and an uptick in most categories would be expected. Stephenson would still be a triple double threat even with Rose on the floor as Rose is not your prototypical pass-first PG. The level of defense played in Chicago also should bode well for steals.
