The Seattle QB will need to throw cautiously once more, as the Packers capitalize on turnovers and defend the red zone much better than the Eagles despite both pass defenses giving up similar yardage. Green Bay’s QB pressure is no joke either; 12th on the season with a 7.5 per cent success rate.

Those things start to get stripped away from him, though, as after being jumped while on the job he’s given a gun for protection. When he accidentally drops the gun during a performance at a children’s hospital he’s fired, and when social services have their budget cut, his outlet for therapy and medication are severed. In the wake of losing his job, Arthur is assaulted on the subway by three men that work for Wayne Enterprises and ends up killing them.

The Wire Troll: Rodney McGruder Should See More Minutes
As the fifth overall pick last year, Garland’s rookie season hasn’t exactly been awe inspiring as he’s struggled with his shooting. But he was terrific on Thursday, scoring 14 points (his third straight game of at least 12) while adding a career-best eight dimes. Okay, so he was playing the sieve-like Charlotte defense, but still, the kid is starting to turn the corner and set himself up for a big second half. With Cleveland likely to be sellers at the deadline, Garland has a chance to be a real steal down the stretch, so grab him now.

NFC Wild Card Matchup: Bird is the Word
Wacky Wild Cards are upon us as two of the NFC bird teams rise once again to contend for playoff mediocrity. Seattle missed a chance to win the division as its home stranglehold over the 49ers finally ended, forcing Seattle to begin the playoffs on the road, in Philly. The Eagles, on the other hand, won handily on the road last week to punch their playoff ticket, and this team seems determined to ensure it’s not a one-and-out scenario. Both teams will need to rely heavier on the passing attack to stay afloat in this week’s highest scoring slate. The underdog line is looking juicy.

Hyman popped a PPG on Friday, giving him seven points in last three games. He’s gotten better each season and despite another injury in 2019-20, he’s on pace for a career-best in goals. The Leafs are red hot, and Hyman’s play has been a big part of that.

The Wire Troll: Chris Boucher to Throw Block Party
Johnson has been dealing with a hop injury, but returned Friday, although he didn’t see much PT. The rookie hasn’t set the world on fire yet, but he was starting to look much better before he got hurt, scoring 10 or more points in three of his last four games (potting nine in the other one), while chipping in with some decent rebounding numbers and the odd steal. The 11th overall pick in this year’s draft should be poised to make some nice strides in the second half, so consider him now in deeper leagues.
