Dallas (6-5) still sits in first in the NFC East, but only because the division is a dumpster fire this year. Meanwhile, Buffalo (8-3) has recently instituted more of an up-tempo offense that suits QB Josh Allen, and the Bills’ D has been superb, but faces a tough task with an offense as talented as the ‘Boys possess.

That means a lot of backtracking and searching for the quickest path back to where you want to go. At first, we felt compelled to fight through enemies, but as we got deeper into the game, it became clear that there’s no real incentive to do so, and that running past them is the best way to proceed unless you’re trying to gather money. Even if you take damage en route to a boss, they’re always preceded by hearts to get your health back to full.

One of the primary gameplay elements here is your ability to inhabit the bodies of various types of animals. You’re a wolf by default and can switch back to that form at any time (provided doing so won’t cause your demise), but you’ll also play as a wombat, duck, fish, elephant and more. Most have a specific purpose — for instance, wombats can enter smaller spaces, moles can tunnel under objects, and so on — and will appear when needed.

Miami has been one of the early-season pleasant surprises in the NBA, and one of the reasons why has been the play of young players like Robinson. The second-year forward has seen a major boost in minutes recently and he’s responded with four straight games of at least 11 points, including a whopping 29 on Wednesday. Robinson is seeing more than double the PT he did as a rookie, but has more than tripled his scoring output. That’s progress, baby.

Back in the jungle, Dora takes charge and decides to find Parapata and her parents with the help of Alejandro and her classmates. The deeper they go into the jungle, the more dangerous it becomes, and the group must work together to survive. The mercenaries haven’t given up, though, and not everything is as it seems.

This mechanic differentiates it from the otherwise standard third-person controls, and because they don’t snap to a targeting reticule or trigger pool, it’s hard to really assign how sharp they are other than they seem effective. There are traditional weapons and melee combat, and these are all effective, though not groundbreaking in any way.
