2014 NFL Draft Winners and Losers

Yeah, yeah… we get it. Grading a draft before any of these players steps onto an NFL field is a bit silly. But why else would we spend so much time studying and grading prospects if not to be able to commend or criticize teams’ Draft Day performances? While time may be the final judge of these draft classes, we’ll take a crack at being the first to pass judgment, based on our obviously impeccable draft boards.

Podcast: NFL Draft Special

On this week’s episode of RotoRob Fantasy Football Weekly Podcast (normally heard every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. on Blogtalkradio), we broadcast live for two hours to cover Round One of the NFL Draft. 2014 RotoRob NFL Mock Draft: Nick

Every year we hear the same ol’ song and dance from coaches and general managers around the league as the draft draws near: “We plan on drafting the best player left on our board.” While that is the best long-term approach, the harsh reality of today’s NFL is that coaches only get a couple years to turn around an organization, so more often than not teams draft to fill needs, at times ignoring the higher talent in order to fill a void on the roster.
