If Perry’s PIMs spike a little, along with his power play goals, he could trump Ovechkin and Kane.

Subban did disappoint a bit last year as he was in a bit of transition to be honest. It is not easy having a lot of expectations heaped on you. However, in the playoffs, he was the biggest reason why Montreal defeated Boston in seven games and that momentum should carry over into this season. Remember, Fantasy value is not all just about points, but we are expecting Subban to top 60 points for the first time in his career.

2014 NHL Draft Grades: Pacific Division, Part I

A big, versatile winger at 6’2″ and 227 pounds, Ritchie has the size, skill and strength that makes him ideally suited as a legitimate NHL power forward. In 61 regular season games with the Petes, Ritchie had 39 goals, 74 points, 136 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating, adding five goals and 10 points in 11 postseason games.

A series of solid drafts has left Minnesota’s prospect pool in good shape, even with most of the cream of the crop already playing in St. Paul. A couple of playoff runs have forced the Wild to draft a little later than it’s become accustomed to (though that’s hardly a bad thing), but its scouting staff has still managed to get good results each year.
