Podcast: Making our Pitch

On Sunday evening I joined Rich Wilson and Tony Cincotta for our weekly review of what’s happening in the world of MLB on the FantasyPros911 show on Blogtalkradio.

We got the ball rolling with a review of the Stephen Strasburg situation in Washington and from there took a look at pitching in general. Are there solutions to the seemingly endless parade of pitchers heading to the office of Dr. James Andrews?

The Twins seem to be stockpiling relief pitching and with the acquisition of Brian Fuentes, they have a solid left/right combo at the back of their pen. Owners of Matt Capps can’t be thrilled with this turn of events, so who in fact does get those save opportunities down the stretch for Minnesota?

A quick review of the closer situation around the big leagues finds us with even more change this week. Is this revolving door syndrome something that we should address when it comes to our draft strategy next spring?
