Since its launch, The Council has squandered some of the initial goodwill gathered from its innovative “RPG meets interactive fiction” due to its technical glitches, recycled layouts and obtuse puzzles. Episode 4, entitled Burning Bridges, pulls along all of the good and bad of the series.

After you and your friends Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus head out on a road trip your father is betrayed and the city of Insomnia laid to ruin. That leaves the burden of ruling to you.

In Week Three, Brees ripped apart the Falcon secondary for a season-high 39 completions, matching his season-best with three touchdown passes. Hell, he even rushed for a pair of scores, including the game-winner in OT. Perhaps he solved world hunger and cured cancer during halftime.

Our least-favourite part of last year’s installment was the aimless, unskippable story attached to MyCareer. Things have improved markedly on that front in NBA 2k19 as you step into the shoes of A.I., beginning with him waiting on draft night and never getting the call. From there you end up in China, progress to the G League and so on.

Need some saves in the final week? Try Buttrey, a virtual unknown until he started bagging saves in Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. Now he’s on a run of eight straight scoreless outings, and he’s looked almost unhittable since reaching the majors just over a month ago. Judging by what Buttrey did at Triple-A, his K rate of 11.15/9 seems sustainable, and we love the fact he’s basically maintained his minor league walk rate.
