NBA Daily Dose: Booze Cruise

Former Utah Jazz power forward Karl Malone was the last player to score 41 for the team.
Until last night’s performance by Carlos Boozer, the last Jazz player to score 41 points in a game was Karl Malone in 2000.

The dude was simply unconscious, scoring 36 of his career-high 41 in the second half in a game that could help vault him back into the MVP race. Daily Dose checks in on Boozer’s big night.

Chuck Hayes was knocked out; Tony Battie flashed some offense; and Michael Olowokandi is done for the year.
