All he’s done is score four goals with eight apples over the last 14 games while looking very much the part of a No. 1 blueliner. Assuming Matheson can stay healthy (he’s had troubles doing so in recent seasons) the rest of the way, he’s a must-own Fantasy asset. In fact, had he not missed the beginning of the season, he would have likely set a new career high in goals. As a bonus, Matheson is logging crazy minutes lately (over 27 per game this month).

Gordon has played 30 or more minutes in back-to-back games, and while seeing that kind of PT down the stretch is contingent on the Clipper injury situation, it’s great to know he can still step when it’s there. Now in his 15th season, this could be his last hurrah at Fantasy value, so give him a look.

Yes, the Bills are flush with offensive weapons, but man, was Shakir ever overlooked in their scheme given the potential the 2022 fifth rounder has. The fact that Buffalo traded up to select him makes his lack of use even more puzzling. The Bills reportedly viewed Shakir as their WR4 heading into the season, but proceeded to give him just 20 targets over 14 games.

Not surprisingly, the rust showed, but with rumours suggested he’s on the trade block, he could be showcased between now and the deadline. Talbot, 35, is an UFA after the season, so the motivation is certainly there to prove he can still be more than a backup goalie after posting his highest GAA since 2018-19.

It’s easy to forget that three years ago Acuna likely went first overall in your league, so realistically, you may never get a chance to get him cheaper than this season. Last year, his power was never less impressive, leading to an unproductive season (injuries didn’t help). However, Acuna is finally 100 per cent healthy and has designs on an MVP award. Going to bet against him? We wouldn’t.
