Zeke Elliott's holdout is affecting the chances of the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Football: The Preseason is Underway

Speaking of Jackson, he continues to show progress in his development, and if you believe what the Ravens are saying, he’s going to be the key to their new “revolutionary” offense. His passing mechanics are getting better, and while he still has a long road ahead, he’s heading in the right direction. Once the games count, expect to see a ton of run-pass option and read-option calls for Jackson, who will run wild. The key, however, remains his ability to improve as a pocket passer because teams will try to shut down his running game.

Daniel Hudson is a good addition for the Washington Nationals.

The Wire Troll: Daniel Hudson Gains Value With Move to Washington

While he didn’t get much of a crack at saves in Toronto, moving to Washington should definitely help him rack up the holds. Hudson’s been quite consistent this season, steady other than a dominant June. He’s done a better job of keeping the ball in the yard, and is enjoying his finest ERA since becoming a reliever. Hudson’s velocity has also bounced back, matching his career best set in 2015.

Blu-ray Review: The Curse of La Llorona

There are also some mind-boggling decisions made that, even in the context of a horror movie, are just absurd. Without getting into spoiler territory, one involves a stuffed animal and another comes shortly thereafter. It’s worth noting that a better-explained version of the second sequence can be found in the deleted scenes. It all adds up to a film that seems created purely to scare rather than present anything coherent or unsettling.

Video Game Review: Dragon Quest Builders 2

Our primary complaint with the original was the odd way it handled, and unfortunately little has changed on that front. Combat is still a bland affair with fights taking on one of two forms: stand there and mash the attack button, or stand there, mash the attack button and periodically run away to avoid high-damage attacks. There’s no block or evasive roll, and it’s debatable if the techniques you learn are more potent than the standard spamming of regular strikes. On the bright side, at least weapons no longer degrade and break.

Blu-ray Review: Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

It’s an okay set of extras, though the absence of a true history of Pokemon feature feels odd as it seems like a slam dunk to help introduce a new audience to the extended lore. There is a “detective mode” that you can activate when playing the film, which will offer snippets of info about various Pokemon that appear and the like, but it requires re-watching the film. An alternate opening is the only “deleted scene.”
