We’ve entered a new age in the NFL. Gone are the days of $50 million guaranteed contracts to the No. 1 overall picks, meaning teams looking to trade up no longer financially cripple their franchises by doing so. This has led to a number of draft pick swaps in recent years, and this year could very well play out in the same fashion. We see the Rams as the most likely top five team to trade down, but none of the top 10 picks being dealt should be a shocker. Now, we present to you, three different Mock Drafts (for the non-playoff teams) by the RotoRob.com Legion of Pigskin Boom. In world of almost non-existent workhorse running backs, Charles is a beast. Like AP, Charles has gone under the knife for a major knee operation, and like Purple Jesus, he bounced back strongly. Charles has led Kansas City from 2-14 a year ago to the playoffs in 2013 by averaging 131.2 yards of total offense per game. He leads the league with 18 touchdowns and already has 65 receptions — 20 more than his career high. It should be notable we had already decided to give this award to Charles before his five touchdown outburst in Week 15.

Yeah, remember Locker? He has out been since Week 10 following foot surgery. What was lost this season is that Locker was really showing improvement. His QB rating was up 12 points from a year ago and he was showing mobility with 6.5 yard average carry and two rushing TDs. Not many QBs enjoy early success and Locker has had to earn his due. However with durability being an issue from him we feel like he still has a lot to prove. He is a great Dynasty add at this point largely because we feel like he will get no love this offseason or this summer in Fantasy drafts. That’s okay, because come Week Four of the 2014 season, some owners will be searching for a QB and Locker — who will have strung three dynamic starts together for your team — will not be available.
