Bestill My Ticker, it’s the Clicker!

The Clicker
It’s a remote control…it’s a beer opener…it’s The Clicker!

Here at RotoRob.com, we regularly review video games as anyone that visits the site more often than Halley’s Comet appearances knows, but when a press release for “The Clicker” crossed our desk, we jumped at the opportunity to expand our product review section.

You see, this device fuses two of the most important weapons in any right-thinking Fantasy owner’s arsenal – the television remote control and a beer opener.

That’s right, not only is The Clicker a universal remote that’s capable of controlling up to eight components — including your television, DVD player, cable box, DVR, satellite, CD and amplifier — but conveniently located on the site of the remote is a beer opener. Man, just strap on your Stadium Pal and you won’t ever have to leave your couch again. Sometimes, life is sweet.

The Clicker, which costs US$25 and can be purchased online myclicker.com, allows you to throw away that huge pile of remote controls that take up most of your coffee table, leaving you with this single, multi-purpose unit. It includes 630 preset codes to work with the devices of most major brands, but sorry, it cannot be used to land the Space Shuttle on the Kremlin. We’re still waiting for that unit, but in the meantime, we’ll just put our feet up, turn on the tube and have a few cold ones. Hey! Where’s my opener? Oh, right…never mind. We’re good to go.
