NBA Daily Dose: Mr. Big Shot Beats Boston

December 20, 2007 | By RotoRob | comment on this post
Gordan Giricek is in hot water in Utah.
Gordan Giricek, right, seen here being friendly with Jazz assistant coach Scott Layden, isn’t exactly on friendly terms with head coach Jerry Sloan these days.

Thanks to some clutch, last-second free throws by Mr. Big Shot himself, Chauncey Billups, the Detroit Pistons proved that Boston still has a ways to go before it can claim Eastern Conference supremacy. In today’s Daily Dose, we check in on the biggest game in the East so far this season.

Gordan Giricek seems to have worn out his welcome in Utah; Dwyane Wade is picking up the pace; Yao Ming’s fantastic rebounding is continuing; LaMarcus Aldridge is back, but I’d be worried if I owned him; and Cleveland’s slump hasn’t stopped LeBron James from doing his thing.

In today’s Dose, we’ve got all these stories plus a ton more fantasy basketball blurbs to tide you over until Christmas.
