What intrigues us now is that it seems Cotter is moving up the Golden Knight depth chart and seeing top six type PT (over 13 minutes in each of the last two, including a season-high 15 on Thursday). He clearly has value in deep formats for the hits; but there could very well be offensive upside, so consider him a sleeper — especially if he continues to get that much TOI.

Combat feels different, and it’s designed to dissuade you from taking on too many enemies at once since they don’t take turns attacking you, and it’s very possible to get overwhelmed when a third or fourth foe joins the fray. It’s pretty straightforward as yellow attacks can be blocked while red can only be dodged, though the timing can be a bit tricky.

Once again, Red October is a thing. The Phillies wasted little time in dispatching Miami, and then took out arguably the best team in baseball (Atlanta) with minimal resistance.

Talk about a triumphant return from last season’s shoulder surgery for Bean! For Werenski, who also had a season-ending shoulder injury in ’22-23… not so much… he’s expected to miss around two weeks with a quad injury. With five assists through the first 14 games, Bean seemed headed for a career-best before getting hurt last season, but he’s already matched his goal total and is sure to see much more PT this season, especially early on. It’s just one game, but he looks vastly improved, and is poised for a bigger role.

Once considered a possible second round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, he’s now projected to go in the middle of the fourth round. And while Pratt would have been hard pressed to keep up the level of play he set in his season debut, his performance has dipped in each contest since, so he’ll be looking to break that trend against the Tigers.

In his sophomore season in 2021, he showed some huge improvements, although interceptions were an issue. Last year, the Fins set Tagovailoa more free, allowing him to throw the ball 400 times for the first time and he rewarded their faith with a huge uptick in touchdown passes. And so far in 2023, he continues to improve, getting sacked less frequently while showing his greatest accuracy yet and continued improvements in his yards per attempt as part of the nearly unstoppable offensive machine that Miami has built.
