Braves’ Fantasy Report

We’ve got a couple of notes from Atlanta Braves’ correspondent Mac Thomason today:

The only thing that’s happened of note is that Matt Diaz is getting most of the playing time in left field right now. He hits eighth, so his RBI and run opportunities are limited, and he isn’t a power guy or a basestealer. On the other hand, he’s hitting in the .330s.

Oh, and the middle relief is so horrific that it’s costing the starters wins, but that’s been going on all year. Last night, Bobby Cox had to use Bob Wickman to get one out in the ninth with a 13-8 lead.
