After showing such potential in his first few seasons, Stephenson has struggled to hit for average since 2023, but his power is spiking now with five bombs already this month. Raw power was always his calling card as a prospect, so this isn’t a massive shock, but as a bonus, he’s heading for a career high in runs.

His velocity increased dramatically this season giving him a heater capable of touching 97 to pair with a strong changeup and a breaking ball he’s capable of controlling well. Mayfield’s smooth delivery really made him stand out among high school arms available in this draft, so he’s someone worth stashing in leagues that allow you to hold players for a few years.

He teased us with big time pop as a rookie (including a three-homer game) and then built on that last year with 26 jacks while hitting better, but this season has seen huge regression as he’s slugged just .330 through half a season, hitting rock bottom in June (490 OPS). The good news? Suwinski has really turned things around this month with a 913 OPS including a .600 SLG despite a couple of quiet days recently. This is another young outfielder with upside worth a roll of the dice.

Before taking an 0-fer on Friday, he was riding a nine-game hit streak, with five of those being multi-knock efforts. The thumb woe that Schanuel dealt with a few weeks ago is clearly a thing of the past as he started to deliver on his promise of being an on-base machine last month (.340 OBP in June) and is now piling up solid run and ribbie numbers for the season.

SWR wasn’t quite as good on Wednesday, but was effective enough to bag another W and has now given up more than three earned runs just once over his last eight starts. A nice winning percentage, ERA and WHIP? What’s not to like? Sure, he’s flopped in a couple of starts, but has generally been a very solid option, and at the age of 23, there’s plenty of upside development potential.

It’s clear that Milwaukee has another solid rookie hurler on its hands in Myers, who has mostly pitched out of the rotation this season. In his last outing, he managed to get 10 whiffs on 90 pitches and in the minors he was renowned for the tremendous vertical movement of his offerings. Myers is starting to look like the real deal, so scoop him up pronto, especially with news that Gasser needs Tommy John surgery.

He will generally pound the strike zone and his arsenal is good enough to take him a long way in time. At the very least, Waldrep is a superb dynasty asset with potential to provide early dividends in the second half.
