Shane Bieber has pitched very well for the Toronto Blue Jays.

No, Bieber WHIP isn’t quite as sparkling as it was in his brief time last year before he got hurt, but his hit rates are solid so it’s still damn impressive for a pitcher who’s been out as long as he was. He’s still punching out more than a batter per inning and has shown a level of command (5.1 K/BB ratio) that you don’t normally see right away from hurlers coming off TJS.

Drake London didn't see as many targets for the Atlanta Falcons in Week Two.

NFL Today: Atlanta’s D Leads the Way

Perhaps the shoulder was still barking a bit on Sunday, but it’s not an ongoing concern, so consider London a low-end WR1 in Week Three when he faces a solid Carolina pass D, and a slam dunk top 10 receiver for the remainder of the season. He became a solid starter far quicker than expected and the former Trojan has the size and length to continue to improve in the NFL, perhaps ultimately reaching top five status.

Quentin Johnston had an impressive opener for the Los Angeles Chargers.

NFL Today: Chargers Finally Beat the Chiefs

Despite missing two games last season, Johnston stepped up in his sophomore year, pulling in 55 receptions on 91 targets for 711 yards, upping his YPR and scoring way more TDs. And based on his Week One showing (five catches on seven targets for 79 yards with two touchdowns and an 80.6 per cent snap rate), he’s poised to take another big step this season.
