Central Issues

Chipper Jones is hurting again.
As if things weren’t bad enough in Atlanta, now Chipper Jones is hurting again.

Things are heating up in a big way in the NL Central after the Cubs’ offense woke up and mashed the Cards 12-3 last night, thanks in no small part to the exploits of Aramis Ramirez and Derrek Lee. In today’s Daily Dose, we check in on what’s brewing in this tight division race.

Jeremy Bonderman’s MRI was clean, but that doesn’t mean we’ll see him again this year; both Jones boys were missing from the Braves’ lineup last night; Billy Buckner better learn to throw strikes; Paul Maholm is on the comeback trail and could really help you down the stretch; and Joe Saunders’ good results are masking a poor season.

Once you’ve enjoyed all the fantasy baseball tidbits in today’s Dose, check out this different spin on the age-old Mac-PC battle.
